Liberty Institute for Faith & Ethics (L.I.F.E.) is a multidisciplinary center dedicated to scholarship and study related to critical cultural, legal, and bioethical issues. It embraces the ethos of love and liberty at the heart of revelation and natural law. Through its various projects and initiatives, L.I.F.E. educates about and explores issues related to religious liberty, freedom of conscience, medical and research ethics, the technological revolution, the nature of the human person, the structure of society and family, the relationship of individuals and groups to one another and to the structures of local, national and international governing entities, and cultural expression addressed to those topics. Its principal organs are the Saint John Paul II Bioethics Center, the Religious Liberty Observatory, and the Center for the Study of Bioethics & Law, each of which is more fully described at its linked page.
